No prerequisites required.

• Gem families, hardness, density, size
• Observation with the naked eye and magnifying glass
• Imitations, syntheses, treatments
• Study of emblematic gems: diamond, ruby, emerald, sapphire, opal, pearl, jade, etc.

15 weeks (end-of-day courses), 45h

Homework, final exam, certificate if grade ≥ 65%.
